The Best Laid Plans
of Mice and Men...
Well, so far this month...
Our trip to Buster's Place was cancelled due to stormy weather ... then Karin's Kustard had to be cancelled because the Vets Home was short a driver ... and now Rich Peoples, VetsNiteOut founder, is in the hospital!
Hopefully we can make our trip to Duggers on the 11th! (Even if Rich
is not able to attend, the Veterans are welcome to go anyway ... as long as they have a way there ... so keep your fingers crossed ... they're getting pretty "antsy" to get out of the Veterans Home for a little while!)
Come join them if you can!!!

We had another great time at the Handlebar on the May 25th!
It's probably a well-kept secret, but they've got to have some of the best home-cooking in the State! It is always-out-of-this-world! Wednesday some of us had one of the daily specials: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes (real ones!) and fried okra.
And believe you me...it was nothing short of fantastic! If you click on the photo, it should enlarge it and you can read the Menu! If you haven't been...you definitely need to go!

MAKE-UP TRIP TO BUSTER'S PLACE!
Since we missed our regularly-scheduled trip to Buster's Place this month, Steve let us make it up on the 31st! Woohoo!
And the Vets were more than ready for one of those "world-famous" Buster Burgers and an ice cold Bud, too! Some of our good buddies from Rolling Thunder were even able to join us!
Yeehaw! Life is good!!!
