Even though the Muddy Roots Fundraiser for VetsNiteOut had to be postponed due to thunderstorms ... that didn't stop folks from sending in donations!

It's truly amazing how generous
people are!

We'll give a full report later, but  get a load of this:  The Event was scheduled for Sunday, August 7th, right?  And of course Jason had been advertising it all over Facebook and everywhere else...
well by Monday, August 8th, VetsNiteOut had already received 2 checks: one from LAFCU, Gabriel Ramirez, Lansing Michigan, and the other from TOO FAST APPAREL in Cherry Hill, New Jersey (and no, Rich does not know these any of kind folks!)

Amazing!  Simply amazing Thanks so much everyone ... we won't let you...or our Veterans...down!!
And May God Bless!

THANKS BUSTERS!

Even though Rich was in New Jersey and couldn't join the Veterans at Busters Place on Tuesday, August 2nd, he was very glad to hear that everyone had a great time!  Busters always treats the guys to a fantastic time!  THANKS BUSTERS!!!

DUGGERS Food & Fun

There's only one problem with going to DUGGERS  in Murfreesboro, Tn. and that's trying to decide what to have!

DUGGERS has some of the very best food in town and a HUGE menu that will blow you away!  If you haven't been, you really need to! You won't regret it!

And DUGGERS always treats our Vets like the esteemed guests that they are! THANKS DUGGERS!!!

POSTPONED due
to rain storms  -
new date
will
be announced!

Our good friend Jason, of Color-My-
Shirt in Smyrna, TN. ( the folks who
make our beautiful Ride to Remember Alzheimers Benefit T-shirts every year)
and who is also with Muddy Roots
Music, set up this wonderful
fundraiser for VetsNiteOut
then had to postpone it because of
thunder storms that Sunday!  It was
supposed to be open-air at Dwayne's
 Custom Cycle ...then Jason thought
about moving it to MT Bottle, but
there just wasn't enough time to really
get the word out!  Hopefully we can re-schedule it for maybe October...when
it's a whole lot cooler and less chance
of rain!

THANKS JASON and everyone else
who was helping with this event...
YOU'RE THE BEST!!!

Our monthly trip to the VFW Post 8422 has to be cancelled this month as the Veterans Home did not have adequate staff to accompany the Vets on this trip.  The guys were very disappointed, of course,  so the Vets Home is scheduling our VFW trip for twice in September!  WOOHOO!

On a happier note ... VNO Founder
Rich Peoples, joined the Vets for a Casino Nite at the Vets Home and helped out with that. Everyone was glad to see him and they all had
a great time!

LOOK TWICE - SAVE A LIFE!

If you've been wondering who was instrumental  in these signs being put up around town, and guessed CMT Abate, good for you!

Several officials, including Rep. Mike Sparks, were on hand to recognize CMT's efforts at Old Fork Park in Murfreesboro, TN on Sunday, August 21, 2011.

THANK YOU ROLLING THUNDER TN 1 for the generous donation to VetsNiteOut!!
At their monthly meeting, RT1 presented VNO Founder Rich Peoples with a check to show appreciation for what we are doing for our local disabled Veterans residing in nursing homes.  RT1 is also very involved in enhancing the lives of these men and women who served their Country by making frequent visits to the State Veterans Home and VA .... usually bringing with them all kinds of party food, beverages and cigarettes.
THANK YOU ROLLING THUNDER TN1 FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!
